  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook for about 5 minutes until softened. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and add it to the apples; cook until thickened. Remove from heat to cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Flatten each biscuit dough into circles about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Place a tablespoon of apple filling in the center of each circle and fold over to seal.
  5. Dip each bomb in melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
