  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half of the basil until combined.
  4. Slice a pocket into each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
  5. Stuff each breast with the ricotta mixture and secure edges if needed.
  6. Place stuffed breasts in the prepared baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  9. Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving and garnish with remaining basil.
