Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time and then stir in almond extract.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until smooth.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them out.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden around edges.
  7. Cool cookies completely before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, and extract. Decorate with sprinkles while glaze is still wet.
