  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 6-inch round cake pans and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter with granulated sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, salt, and flour; stir gently until just combined.
