Ingredients

  • Saltine crackers
  • Unsalted butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Cinnamon
  • Granulated sugar
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt together unsalted butter and brown sugar until boiling, then let bubble for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading evenly, and bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top. Allow them to melt, then spread into an even layer.
  6. Mix granulated sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the melted chocolate along with a touch of sea salt.
  7. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
