  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
  5. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan. Mix cinnamon and sugar, sprinkle half over the batter, add remaining batter, then top with more cinnamon sugar. Swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
