  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle and slice into 12 strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, then add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, salt, and pepper; brush half of this mixture over the knots.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush remaining garlic butter on top once out of the oven and serve warm.
