Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Scoop small dollops onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least one hour.
  2. In a larger bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in the egg and additional vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt before combining it with the wet ingredients until just mixed. Fold in chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces.
  4. Take about two tablespoons of dough, flatten slightly, place a frozen cheesecake dollop in the center, and cover it with more dough, sealing the edges.
  5. Bake on a parchment-lined sheet at 350°F (175°C) for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden but centers look soft.
  6. Let cool briefly before transferring to a wire rack. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
