  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Mix until evenly coated.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, remaining granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Pour melted butter into a baking dish; add milk and vanilla to the dry mixture. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the melted butter without mixing; spoon peach mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
