  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Melt cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk until just combined.
  3. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
  4. Layer half the peach mixture over melted butter; pour batter gently on top without stirring. Add remaining peaches on top.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
  6. For the drizzle, melt additional butter with maple syrup over medium heat until bubbling, about two minutes.
