  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup concentrated orange juice, thawed
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • Zest from one orange (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon orange extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare three 8-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
