Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold potatoes (or red-skinned potatoes)
  • Heavy cream
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Parmesan cheese (or Pecorino Romano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle grated parmesan on the bottom.
  3. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic base until melted. Stir in most of the parmesan.
  4. Thinly slice potatoes using a mandoline and arrange them in the baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and cover with greased foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes covered, then uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes until tender. Broil for 4 minutes for a golden top.
