  • 2 pounds pizza dough
  • 70 to 75 turkey or chicken lil’ smokies (about 2 packages of 14 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for cheese sauce)
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 8 ounces white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, then cut it into small squares (about 2 inches).
  3. Wrap each lil’ smoky in a square of dough and place them on a greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. For the cheese sauce, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stir in flour, then gradually add milk while whisking until thickened. Mix in mustard and shredded cheddar; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm with the dipping sauce.
