  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional for heat
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup freshly chopped parsley, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil and half the butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and diced onion until soft.
  3. Add marinated chicken to the skillet and brown on all sides.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, heavy cream, cayenne pepper (if desired), garam masala, and additional curry powder; simmer gently.
  5. Once cooked through and creamy, stir in remaining butter until melted.
