  • 2 inches fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 serrano peppers, minced
  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk (13.5-ounce)
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (14-ounce)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse and soak the lentils in cold water until clear; soak for at least six hours.
