  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 2 cups Cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 2 cups Nacho cheese Doritos (lightly crushed)
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • ½ cup Salsa or pico de gallo
  • 1 Sliced avocado or ½ cup Guacamole
  • ½ cup Black beans or corn kernels

Instructions

  1. Brown 1 lb of ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add 1 packet of taco seasoning and follow package instructions to season the meat with water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare 2 cups of cooked rice according to package instructions.
  4. In bowls, layer the cooked rice first, followed by the seasoned beef, then sprinkle lightly crushed nacho cheese Doritos on top.
  5. Finish with your choice of toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, avocado or guacamole, and black beans or corn.
